All of the effects seen in these clips were done in Adobe After Effects.

This short clip was made for the Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back Uncut movie project, with visual effects done by me, and was included in the final film.

This was a personal project, part of a silly little video about the creation of the titular Anti-Malarkey Ray, which is destructive to things full of malarkey.
The most challenging aspect of this was making the energy rings that are fired along with the central beam.

Quite simply, this is an effects test for an energy ball. The explosion is recolored stock footage, but the energy ball itself was built within After Effects.

This animation was made for a TV commercial put together by Golfshop Central. The golf club mesh was provided by the company, then refined and animated in Maya before the resulting video was taken into After Effects for the visual styles.

This is a segment from another personal project, a parody of the Twilight movies me and my brother made. Here, Edward and James fight with Wii remotes that shoot lasers. While it can't really be seen, the color of the lasers actually corresponds with the grip color of their remotes.
